Blocking and Unblocking
Blocking
You can block another member from communicating with you by clicking on the “Block” option on their profile. Simply click on the 3-dot icon at the top of the page and select “Block.”
You can also click on the the three dots on the top right of the members messages and select Block from the options.
Currently, you can block up to 2,000 members from contacting you. If you need to add more after that, you’ll want to visit your Blocked list and clear out some of the older names.
Unblocking
If you’d like to unblock someone you've previously blocked, you can follow these steps:
- Log in to your desktop version of the Match site. (At this time, it’s not possible to follow these steps when you’re accessing Match with a mobile device.)
- Click on the gear icon at the top of the screen.
- Click on “Blocked Profiles"
- Click on the "Unblock" button next to the member you would like to unblock
Reporting a concern
If you want to block someone because they acted inappropriately, we recommend that also you let us know about it by clicking the “Report” link on the member's profile. Simply click on the 3-dot icon and select “Report.” Reporting a concern is completely anonymous. Our team will investigate your report and take the appropriate action.
